Meet Our Providers
Dr. Jessica Hochman
Dr. Hochman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has been recognized as a 2019 and 2020 Southern California Rising Star by “Southern California Super Doctors Magazine” for her commitment to providing the highest-quality health care.
While attending the University of California Los Angeles, Dr. Hochman studied psychobiology and graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. While attending college, she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain.
At Boston University, Dr. Hochman completed her Master’s degree in Medical Science, completing her thesis evaluating the effects of a low-carbohydrate diet. She earned her medical degree from Boston University in 2008. While at Boston University, Dr. Hochman was voted by her peers into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, a national honor society recognizing physicians who exemplify excellence and compassion with humanistic care in medicine. A proud UCLA Bruin, Dr. Hochman completed both her internship and residency in pediatrics at UCLA (2008-2011).
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hochman enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and three young children.
Dr. Andrew M. Matthew
In his spare time, Dr. Matthew can be found competing in local triathlons or attending a UCLA sporting event. He is a husband to Sandy; father to three grown children, Jessica (Dr. Hochman), Jackie and Marissa; grandfather to Emma, Henry, Gabriel, Nathan, Lily, Abe, Sadie, Olivia and Alana.
Dr. Karen Tenenblatt
Dr. Tenenblatt is happy to be back in her home town of Los Angeles and excited to be working at Oak Park Pediatrics. She currently lives in the West Valley with her husband, an Orthopedic Surgeon, and their young two sons.
Dr. Matthew Lanson
Dr. Lanson is a native of Ventura County and is thrilled to return to the area to be close to his family. He and his wife, who is training to be Trauma Surgeon, are excited to welcome their new son.
With his free time, Dr. Lanson enjoys playing pickleball and golf, watching superhero movies, going to the dog park with his energetic aussiedoodle puppy, and rooting for his Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams.
Marci Spruill
She worked as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse for 9 years. She has experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practioner in Child Abuse and Neglect, Adolescent Mental Health, as well as, Pediatric Urgent Care. She currently joins us part time while teaching at her alma mater UCLA in the Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program.
She grew up in the Conejo Valley, married her High School sweetheart, and is now raising her three children in Thousand Oaks. In her free time she enjoys the beach, traveling, being her children's number one fan in all of their activities, and spending time with friends and family. You may hear her laughing in the halls or giving hugs all because of the pure joy of getting to work in pediatrics!
